Getting in touch with your body requires becoming more aware. The more you understand how to use your body as a vehicle to express who you are, the further empowered you feel. Ultimately, you create the life you desire.
In each of these 2-hour sessions, we will explore:
Arm Balances- utilizing the core, shoulder girdle, and arms to form stability and power. Yet, keeping the body supple enough to lift off with ease.
Crane- Bakasana,
Ekapada Kaundinyasana- One leg Kaundinya
Peacock- Matsyasana
Backbends- are the yin/yang of your practice because they ask you to give yourself the freedom to let go but simultaneously stay steady and robust. We will practice opening our chest as we secure our hips to avoid lower back strain.
Bow- Dhanurasana
One-Legged King Pigeon- Ekapada Rajakapota
Wheel- Urdhva Dhanurasana
Inversions- turning your world upside down is about embracing your fears!
Technique, concentration, strength, and perseverance all play a role in stepping out of your box and discovering boundlessness. There is an inversion for all levels of your practice because each posture is a stepping stone to a higher level.
